Background
Idaho’s Chapter of the International Association of Workforce Professionals (IAWP) gifted funds to Washington State, to support education and training opportunities in collaboration with the Oregon and Montana Chapters. Your Washington Chapter of IAWP has created a one-time opportunity for scholarships in five (5) categories, for the first International, Workforce Summit in Salem, OR scheduled for June 15th – 17th, 2022 at the Scottish Rite Center in Salem, OR.  
 
The Idaho Educational Fund is available for all those interested in Workforce Development living or working in, Washington State.  Historically, IAWP has been recognized as association of the Employment Security Department. We are proud of this recognition and partnership. Please note, that these funds are available to all interested in workforce development, to include our partnering agencies, non-profits, education providers, and businesses.
 
Awards
  1. Registration for the Workforce Summit for a non-member of IAWP, who has never attended an event in-person at $249.
  2. Registration for the Workforce Summit for a current member of IAWP who has never attended an event in-person at $149.
  3. Registration for a New Member of IAWP, verified in the months of April, May, and June 2022 for $149 (intended for a one-year membership).
  4. Reimbursement for (1) night of lodging at the Government Business Rate at either the following hotels for an individual with one plus (1+) years good standing:
    1. Grand Hotel (downtown Salem - $149 single, $159 double)
    2. Phoenix Inn (south Salem - $129 single, $139 double)
  5. Reimbursement of IRS Standard Mileage Rate for 2022 at 58.5 cents per mile to and from the Applicant’s residence to the Scottish Rite Center in Salem, OR up to 6oo miles for an individual with membership in three plus (3+) years good standing.
